Head of School

Educational Directions is pleased to partner with The Country School in the search for its next Head of School. The start date for this role is July 1, 2027. 

Located in historic Easton, Maryland, the school offers a challenging program in a nurturing environment for students in grades PK-8 where it is believed that education is about more than just academic success—it’s about nurturing the whole child. Partnering closely with families to support not only intellectual growth, but also the development of strong character and emotional well-being, The Country School's goal is to prepare students to become thoughtful, compassionate, and resilient individuals who are ready to lead with integrity. While the rigorous academic program challenges students to think critically, communicate effectively, and solve problems creatively, cultivating character is equally important and teachers intentionally weave character education into classroom lessons, social interactions, athletic endeavors, and extracurricular activities.
