About BlueGreen Sheet

                                                  A brief note from Chase & Nicole Arnold

Thank you for your interest in BlueGreen Sheet (BGS). BGS is the successor platform to The Blue Sheet and The Green Sheet, which were founded by Chris Arnold (Chase's father) and his partners in 1990. The “sheets" grew to become the leading service for individuals to learn about independent school jobs and for schools and consultants to connect with exceptional candidates.

BGS is now 100% independently owned by Chase and Nicole Arnold and is managed by Lisa Dow (Chris Arnold’s niece and our first cousin). We have a deep affection for the independent school community. Chase grew up on the campus of Noble & Greenough School, where his father was a teacher and lacrosse coach while his mother was a dorm parent.  He then attended Heritage Hall where Chris was the upper school principal, and then later graduated from Milton Academy. Our two sons are proud graduates of Thayer Academy, where Nicole led the Parent Athletic Council and served on the Parents Association for several years. Lisa graduated from St. Mark's School and her children attended Moses Brown, The Wheeler School and Northfield Mount Herman. We all have an immense appreciation for the educators who pursue careers at independent schools and the lifelong impact they can have on students. 

We are continuing many of the traditions of the original Blue Sheet and Green Sheet, such as focusing exclusively on leadership positions and always focusing on the needs of our clients. However, we have made some important changes to the business.  First, we have made the service free to job seekers - we want to make it as frictionless as possible for schools and individuals to connect. Second, we do not conduct searches or compete with search consultants in any way. On the contrary, we are actively trying to promote our consulting partners as they play a vital role in matching schools and individuals. Lastly, we have made several enhancements to the technology platform to ensure that your experience is as user-friendly as possible.
