Job Description
For more than six decades, Sarasota Christian School (SCS) has held to a clear calling, growing from fifteen students meeting at Tuttle Mennonite Church in 1958 to a thriving Pre-K through 12th grade community of approximately 840 students drawn from well over a hundred area congregations. Rooted in its Anabaptist heritage and accredited by FACCS, SCS lives out a mission to equip students with a Love for Christ, a Passion to Learn, the Courage to Lead, and a Commitment to Serve.
Sarasota Christian School is now seeking its next Head of School to begin in July 2027. The Head of School serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Sarasota Christian School, responsible for advancing and implementing the mission of SCS under the direction of the Board of Directors. The Head of School serves as the spokesperson for the school and represents SCS to its various publics, directing and supervising the Administrative Team along with key organizational positions, including the Athletic Director. The desirable candidate will have a Master’s Degree or higher in education or a related field and related leadership or educational experience.
