Educational Directions is excited to partner with Saint Philomena School of the Sacred Heart in the search for its next Head of School for July 1, 2027.
Saint Philomena School of the Sacred Heart is an independent, coed, Catholic school located in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. It is part of the 25 member schools in the Network of Sacred Heart Schools of United States and Canada.
The school's mission is “to foster the courage and confidence of children to discover, develop and use their God-given gifts and talents to transform the world for good”. It was founded and inspired by the Sisters Faithful Companions of Jesus to educate the heart, mind, body, and spirit of all God’s children. Rooted in the educational vision of Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat and inspired by the Goals & Criteria of Sacred Heart Education, the school values faith, intellect, service, community, and wisdom.
