Job Description
The Assistant Head of School at Foxcroft School will serve as a key strategic partner to the Head of School, Dr. Lisa Kaenzig, in advancing the institution’s mission of empowering confident and courageous young women. This role encompasses leadership across academic, residential, and student life programs, ensuring operational excellence and fostering a cohesive, inclusive school culture. The Assistant Head will oversee key departments, including academics, athletics, college counseling, and student health, while championing innovative curriculum development, data-informed decision-making, and best practices in girls’ education. Additionally, the role involves guiding strategic initiatives such as the integration of the new Mars STEAM Building, enhancing signature programs like the renowned riding program, and supporting faculty development. As a visible and collaborative leader, the Assistant Head will build strong relationships with students, families, and faculty, while contributing to the school’s long-term vision and strategic planning efforts.
