Head of School

Barrie School has launched a search for its next Head of School, whose term will start July 1, 2027.

Barrie School is a progressive independent school in Silver Spring, Maryland serving students with Montessori (3 Months to Grade 5) and Project-Based Learning (Grade 6 to Grade 12) curricula. Its 45-acre campus is home to the world-renowned Barrie Institute for Advanced Montessori Studies (one of the largest school-based teacher training programs in the country) and Barrie Camp, a Washington, D.C. area tradition since the 1950s.
