Job Description
The Association of Independent Maryland & DC Schools (AIMS) has commenced a search for its next Executive Director, whose term will start July 1, 2027. AIMS supports, advocates for, and protects independent schools and independent education in Maryland and Washington, DC. It seeks to strengthen the sustainability, diversity, and inter-dependence of its member schools through:
- Accreditation
- Advocacy
- Collaboration and Affiliation -- locally, regionally, nationally
- Collective marketing and purchasing
- Imagining and preparing for the future of independent schools
- Professional Learning and consultation
- Research and analysis
